Important Update
Disposable Vapes Are Now Banned in the UK | Here’s What to Do Next
If you’ve found this page looking for disposable vapes, there’s something important you need to know. Since 1 June 2025, it is illegal to sell or supply single-use disposable vapes anywhere in the UK, including online, under legislation passed in October 2024. This covers all disposables regardless of nicotine content.
As a result the VYKO Paper Bar disposable vape is no longer available for sale. The good news is that there are a great selection of disposable vape alternatives that give you the same flavours and convenience as a disposable, but have replaceable pods and can be recharged, making them fully legally compliant.
Why the ban happened
~5 million disposables were being discarded every week in the UK
Lithium batteries posed fire risks at waste facilities
Disposables were the most popular vape type among underage users
What’s still legal & available
Prefilled pod kits: closest to the disposable experience
Refillable pod systems: more flavour choice, lower cost
Starter kits: ideal if you’re new to reusable devices
Introducing the next addition to the VYKO family: The Paper Bar. It is a 450mAh disposable with the ability to push out 800 wonderful puffs (200 puffs more than most disposables on the UK market). Not only that, the Paper Bar shell is made using paper.
Replacing plastic with paper creates much less waste than regular disposables and helps reduce your carbon footprint, reduces the need for harvesting raw materials, saves energy, reduces greenhouse gases and also prevents pollution.
Each disposable is pre-filled with 2ml of mouthwatering 20mg Salt Nicotine E-Liquid. Join us in revolutionising the vape market, one bar at a time.
