Description
The SMOK RPM80 RGC replacement coils are the drop-in coils for SMOK’s RGC pod, delivering SMOK’s NexMesh flavour with a simple plug-and-play fit. This pack gives you a choice of two resistances: a 0.17Ω conical mesh coil for big, warm direct-lung (DTL) clouds and a 0.6Ω DC MTL coil for a tighter, cigarette-like mouth-to-lung draw. These SMOK RGC replacement coils fit the RGC pod used by the RPM80, RPM80 Pro and Fetch Pro, and are sold in packs of 5.
Key facts
The SMOK RGC coils come in 0.17Ω mesh and 0.6Ω DC MTL.
The 0.17Ω mesh coil runs at 40-80W.
The 0.6Ω DC MTL coil runs at 8-16W.
They use SMOK NexMesh with a Kanthal, plug-and-play build.
They fit the SMOK RPM80, RPM80 Pro and Fetch Pro RGC pod.
They are sold in packs of 5.
Which devices do SMOK RGC coils fit?
Fits: the SMOK RPM80, RPM80 Pro and Fetch Pro, through the SMOK RGC replacement pod.
Also fits: the same RGC pod takes the SMOK RGC RBA coil if you prefer to rebuild.
Does not fit: the standard RPM pod (that takes SMOK RPM coils, not RGC), and not the TFV8 Baby or Nord, which use different coils.

Resistance, wattage and draw guide
Pick the coil by the draw you want. Use only the resistance your RGC pod is set up for, and match the e-liquid to it:
0.6Ω DC MTL (8-16W), tight mouth-to-lung: a cigarette-like draw for ex-smokers. Best with a 50/50 nic salt in 10mg or 20mg.
0.17Ω Conical Mesh (40-80W), airy direct-lung: warm clouds and bold flavour, with a sweet spot around 60W. Best with a high-VG (70/30 or more) shortfill at 0-6mg.
There is also an RGC RBA core (a pre-built 0.6Ω Clapton) for vapers who want to rebuild their own coil.
Which e-liquid to pair
For the 0.6Ω MTL coil, use a 50/50 or high-PG nic salt for a smooth throat hit. For the 0.17Ω mesh coil, switch to a high-VG shortfill e-liquid at a low nicotine level, as thick sub-ohm juice wicks best at high wattage and gives the biggest clouds.
Prime and protect your RGC coil
Prime: drip a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the coil’s wick ports until they look saturated before fitting it.
Fill and rest: fit the coil into the RGC pod, fill, then leave it 5 to 10 minutes so the wick soaks fully.
Start low: begin the 0.17Ω around 40W and build up to about 60W rather than jumping straight to 80W, which is where the burnt taste tends to start.
Do not chain-vape: leave a moment between puffs so the wick can re-soak and avoid dry hits.
Lifespan: expect roughly 2 to 3 weeks per coil; keep the pod topped up, run high-VG juice and lower the wattage to make it last longer, then swap when it tastes burnt.
Vapers on the E-Cigarette Forum note the 0.17Ω RGC can dry-hit if pushed near 80W or on an off batch of SMOK’s quality control, so keeping it around 40-65W with a high-VG juice is the reliable setup. If you want a tighter, trouble-free option, many prefer the RPM 0.4Ω coil instead.
Why NexMesh
The conical mesh heats evenly across a larger surface than a round wire coil, so you get fuller flavour and a longer usable life before the taste drops off.

SMOK RGC coils FAQ
What devices do SMOK RGC coils fit?
They fit the SMOK RPM80, RPM80 Pro and Fetch Pro through the RGC replacement pod. They do not fit the standard RPM pod, the TFV8 Baby or the Nord, which all use different coils.
What wattage should I run the 0.17ohm RGC coil at?
It is rated 40-80W, but most vapers find the sweet spot around 60W. Start near 40W and build up; going straight to 80W is where dry, burnt hits usually begin.
Why is my SMOK RGC coil burning or dry hitting?
Usually it has not wicked. Prime the coil, rest it 5 to 10 minutes after filling, run a high-VG juice and keep the wattage moderate. Forum users also flag occasional SMOK quality-control duds, so try a second coil if one keeps dry-hitting.
Which RGC coil should I choose, 0.17 or 0.6?
Choose the 0.6Ω DC MTL for a tight, cigarette-like draw with nic salts at low power. Choose the 0.17Ω mesh for warm direct-lung clouds and bold flavour with high-VG shortfills at 40-80W.
How long do SMOK RGC coils last?
Around 2 to 3 weeks each, depending on wattage, how sweet your juice is and how often you vape. Priming properly, running high-VG liquid and not chain-vaping all help each coil last longer.
Do RGC coils fit the standard RPM pod?
No. The RGC coil only fits the RGC pod. The standard RPM pod uses SMOK RPM coils instead, so check which pod your device has before buying.
Are RGC coils the same as RPM coils?
No. They are two different coil families for the RPM80. RGC coils go in the RGC pod, RPM coils go in the RPM pod. They are not interchangeable.
