Important Update
Disposable Vapes Are Now Banned in the UK | Here’s What to Do Next
If you’ve found this page looking for disposable vapes, there’s something important you need to know. Since 1 June 2025, it is illegal to sell or supply single-use disposable vapes anywhere in the UK, including online, under legislation passed in October 2024. This covers all disposables regardless of nicotine content.
As a result the Elf Bar EB1200 disposable vape is no longer available for sale. The good news is that there are a great selection of disposable vape alternatives that give you the same flavours and convenience as a disposable, but have replaceable pods and can be recharged, making them fully legally compliant.
Why the ban happened
~5 million disposables were being discarded every week in the UK
Lithium batteries posed fire risks at waste facilities
Disposables were the most popular vape type among underage users
What’s still legal & available
Prefilled pod kits: closest to the disposable experience
Refillable pod systems: more flavour choice, lower cost
Starter kits: ideal if you’re new to reusable devices
The Elf Bar EB1200 Disposable allows you to enjoy double the usual puffs whilst still being fully TPD compliant. It combines a rechargeable device with 2 pre-filled pods that you must insert after opening the box. Providing the same beloved feeling and intensity of flavour as all other Elf Bar Disposables, it feels familiar but provides twice as many puffs.
Key Features

Save almost 50% with the Elf Bar EB1200 compared to most 600-puff disposables on the market. Twice the puffs and almost half the price! Also, this way, you help produce less waste compared to the amount of waste created by non-rechargeable disposables.
Elf Bar’s QUAQ Mesh Coils bring you unrivalled flavour and longevity allowing you to enjoy every single puff you take, maintaining full flavour till the very last puff.
The plentiful 700mAh battery helps you enjoy your chosen flavour with the same intensity right at the end as it was fully charged. Say goodbye to fading flavour and enjoy full intensity at all times.
When you first open the box, you will have to assemble your EB1200. Simply follow the first step in the image above. Only one pod will fire at a time so if you want to use the other one, just rotate the mouthpiece 180 degrees.
