Description
Bring Rei’s elegant Chinese-inspired Hatsune Miku illustration to life with Hatsune Miku: Shimian Maifu Ver., a 1/7 scale figure from Good Smile Company.
Inspired by the historical music piece “Shimian Maifu,” the figure presents Hatsune Miku holding a traditional Chinese pipa in a dynamic pose based closely on Rei’s original artwork.
Her flowing twin-tails, vivid color palette and intricately patterned costume create a dramatic silhouette, while the composition evokes the atmosphere of a traditional ink painting translated into three-dimensional form.
Sculpted by Kai Sasaki with paintwork by milk, the figure stands approximately 290 mm tall and includes a dedicated display stand.
This listing is for the rerelease version scheduled for July 2027. The original release was issued in February 2025.

Art & Design Inspiration
Hatsune Miku: Shimian Maifu Ver. is based on an illustration by Rei inspired by the historical music piece “Shimian Maifu.”
The composition blends Hatsune Miku’s recognizable design with traditional Chinese visual elements, including the pipa instrument, flowing costume details and a color treatment intended to evoke the atmosphere of an ink painting.
The figure closely follows the pose and movement of the original artwork, with the long twin-tails and layered clothing forming much of the display’s dramatic silhouette.
