Description
SMOK Nord C Pod Vape Kit: Adjustable Power in a Pocket Pod
Quick verdict: the SMOK Nord C is a refillable pod kit with a proper OLED screen and adjustable power from 5W to 50W, run by an 1800mAh battery with USB-C charging. It uses SMOK RPM 2 coils and 2ml top-fill pods, and with its low-resistance coils it leans towards a RDL (restricted direct-to-lung, an airier draw than a cigarette). Best for vapers who want a screen and wattage control in a pocket-sized device. Not ideal if you want the simplest, screen-free, tight MTL pod, where a basic pod kit is easier.
The Nord C sits a step above a plain pod kit. You get a small OLED display, a fire button, stepless airflow and smart coil detection, so it behaves more like a mini mod while staying pocket-friendly. That makes it a good pick if a simple pod feels too limited but a full box mod feels like too much.

Pick Your Draw: RDL, with MTL Optional
With the low-resistance RPM 2 mesh coils it comes set up for, the Nord C runs as a RDL device: an airier draw taken into the lungs, with more vapour and warmer flavour than a tight pod. If you want a tighter, more cigarette-like MTL draw, close the stepless airflow down and fit a higher-resistance RPM 2 coil such as the 0.6Ω. The adjustable wattage and airflow let you tune the feel either way.
Key Features
OLED screen shows wattage, coil resistance and battery at a glance.
Adjustable 5W to 50W so you set the power to suit the coil and your taste.
Smart coil detection reads the fitted coil and suggests a safe wattage.
Stepless airflow slides from tight to airy with no fixed steps.
1800mAh battery, large for a pod kit, with fast USB-C charging.
Coils and Pods: RPM 2 Only
This is the one thing to get right. The Nord C uses SMOK RPM 2 coils. It does not use the original RPM coils, standard Nord coils, or Nord 4 coils, even though the names look similar, so always check the pack says RPM 2 before you buy. When flavour fades or you taste burning, fit a fresh RPM 2 coil and prime it first: add a few drops of e-liquid onto the coil cotton, fit the pod, fill it, then wait five to ten minutes before vaping. When a pod itself gets cloudy or leaks, replace it with a SMOK RPM 2 pod.
Battery, Coil Life and Running Cost
The 1800mAh battery is generous for a pod kit and will see most vapers through a full day, though running low-resistance coils at higher wattage will use it faster. A USB-C top-up is quick when you need it.
An RPM 2 mesh coil usually lasts one to two weeks, less if you vape dark, sweet e-liquids that gunk coils faster. Your running cost is a coil every week or two plus e-liquid, far cheaper than disposables and with full control over flavour and strength.
Compatibility and Refills
Refilling is top-fill: lift the pod, open the fill port on top and add your e-liquid, no need to take the tank apart. The pod holds 2ml in line with UK rules. For coils and spare pods, stay inside the RPM 2 range only. Because the coil resistances on offer run from airy sub-ohm mesh up to tighter MTL options, one device covers both a cloud-style and a more cigarette-like vape depending on the coil you fit.

Stepping Up from a Simple Pod or Disposable?
If you have outgrown a basic pod or a disposable and want more control, the Nord C is a sensible next step. You get a screen, adjustable power and swappable coils, so you can dial in the draw instead of being stuck with one setting. The trade-off is honest: there is a little more to learn than a plug-and-puff pod, and you keep it topped up with coils, pods and e-liquid. If you would rather keep things as simple as possible, a straightforward vape starter kit may suit you better. To compare airier, cloud-friendly kits, see the RDL vape kit range.
SMOK Nord C FAQ
Which coils does the SMOK Nord C use?
The Nord C uses SMOK RPM 2 coils only. It does not take the original RPM coils, standard Nord coils, or Nord 4 coils. The names are similar, so always check the pack clearly says RPM 2 before buying replacements.
Is the Nord C MTL or RDL?
As supplied with its low-resistance coils it is a RDL kit, giving an airier, cloudier draw. Fit a higher-resistance RPM 2 coil and close the airflow down and it will do a tighter, more cigarette-like MTL draw instead.
How do I adjust the wattage?
Use the buttons to set power between 5W and 50W, shown on the OLED screen. Smart coil detection reads the fitted coil and suggests a safe range, so start near the coil’s recommended wattage and adjust to taste from there.
How do I fill the Nord C pod?
It is top-fill. Remove the pod, open the fill port on top and add your e-liquid, then close it. With a new coil, prime it first by adding a few drops to the cotton and letting it sit for five to ten minutes before vaping.
How long does the battery last?
The 1800mAh battery lasts most of a day for an average vaper. Running low-resistance coils at higher wattage drains it faster, but USB-C charging tops it back up quickly when needed.
What is the difference between the Nord C and older Nord kits?
The Nord C adds an OLED screen, adjustable 5W to 50W power and RPM 2 coil support. Older Nord kits are simpler and use different coils, so coils and pods are not interchangeable between them.
