Important Update
Disposable Vapes Are Now Banned in the UK | Here’s What to Do Next
If you’ve found this page looking for disposable vapes, there’s something important you need to know. Since 1 June 2025, it is illegal to sell or supply single-use disposable vapes anywhere in the UK, including online, under legislation passed in October 2024. This covers all disposables regardless of nicotine content.
As a result the SKE Crystal Bar disposable vape is no longer available for sale. The good news is that there is a direct replacement, the SKE Crystal 600 Pro prefilled pod kit. This device brings you the same flavours and convenience as the original, but has replaceable pods and can be recharged making it fully legally compliant, and even better value than the original.
Why the ban happened
~5 million disposables were being discarded every week in the UK
Lithium batteries posed fire risks at waste facilities
Disposables were the most popular vape type among underage users
What’s still legal & available
Prefilled pod kits: closest to the disposable experience
Refillable pod systems: more flavour choice, lower cost
Starter kits: ideal if you’re new to reusable devices
The Crystal Bar disposable vape pen by SKE is a futuristic-looking disposable that will accompany you on your daily activities and provide you with a stress-relieving nicotine hit. The disposable is not much bigger than a marker pen, so with its slim profile, it can easily be slipped into your pocket.
Each Crystal Bar is pre-filled with 2ml of 20mg Nic Salt E-Liquid. A 500mAh battery is built into each disposable which results in a 600 puff capability which should last around 2 days for the average vaper. Every Crystal bar is easy to use and roughly equivalent to 40 cigarettes.
