Description

Introduction

The Oxva Xlim 4 Pod Kit is the screen-free flagship of the Xlim range: a refillable pod kit with a 1600mAh battery, the largest Oxva has fitted to an Xlim, three power levels run from one button, and the new UNITECH 3.0 top fill cartridge. It costs £14.99 here and comes in ten colours. Best for vapers who want strong flavour and a full day of battery without menus to learn.

Instead of a screen, a ring light shows power level and battery at a glance, keeping the body slim and tough for pocket carry. It is not the one to pick if you want a display and precise readouts: the Oxva Xlim Pro 3 keeps the screen. This is the simpler, cheaper way into the same pod system.

Oxva Xlim 4 Key Facts

The Oxva Xlim 4 has a 1600mAh built-in battery, the largest in the Oxva Xlim series.

The Oxva Xlim 4 reaches up to 30W through three preset power levels, switched by double-clicking the button.

The Oxva Xlim 4 ships with a 2ml Oxva Xlim Top Fill UNITECH 3.0 cartridge in 0.8 ohm.

The Oxva Xlim 4 also accepts the previous Oxva Xlim Top Fill cartridges in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm.

The Oxva Xlim 4 charges over USB-C at 5V/2A, and a cable is included in the box.

Key Specs Customers Check

Battery: 1600mAh built-in. Enough for a full day of mouth-to-lung vaping, and 100mAh more than the Oxva Xlim Pro 3.

Output: up to 30W, three power levels. No wattage menu, just Low, Medium and High, so the kit matches power to the pod for you.

Pod in the box: 0.8 ohm UNITECH 3.0, 2ml top fill. The UK TPD version, pre-installed and primed in about 30 seconds.

Compatible pods: 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. Takes both UNITECH 3.0 and the earlier Oxva Xlim Top Fill cartridges.

Charging: USB-C at 5V/2A. Oxva publishes no charge time; UK retailers quote roughly an hour from flat.

Airflow: side slider. Moves the draw from tight and cigarette-like to looser and airier without changing pods.

Indicator: ring light, no screen. One click shows battery in three colour bands; the light also shows your power level.

Size and weight: 121 x 26.2 x 15.2mm, 78.1g. Zinc alloy body with IML or PU leather finishes, slim enough for any pocket.

Pick Your Inhale: MTL or RDL

MTL (mouth-to-lung) means drawing vapour into your mouth first, like a cigarette. RDL (restricted direct-lung) is a looser pull straight to the lungs with more vapour. This kit does both: pod resistance and the airflow slider decide which you get.

0.8 ohm (in the box) and 1.2 ohm: MTL. Tight, cool draw on Low or Medium power. The right start for ex-smokers and anyone moving on from disposables.

0.6 ohm: RDL or loose MTL. Warmer draw with more vapour on Medium or High.

0.4 ohm: RDL. The airiest, warmest option, best with the slider open and High power.

Key Features

Three power levels, one button: double-click to cycle Low, Medium and High. Each step changes flavour intensity and vapour without any settings screen.

One Ring Light: a single click shows battery in three bands (65-100%, 30-65%, below 30%), and four clicks switch between two light effects.

UNITECH 3.0 cartridge: Oxva claims a 30-second prime time, upgraded anti-leak protection and consistent flavour even at low battery, based on its own lab testing.

Backwards compatible: existing Oxva Xlim Top Fill pods still fit, so an upgrade does not waste the spares in your drawer.

Coils and E-Liquid Pairing

Match the liquid to the pod and this kit performs at its best. The 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods suit 10mg or 20mg nic salts and 50/50 liquids: smooth throat hit, strong flavour, slow liquid use. The 0.6 and 0.4 ohm pods take lower-strength salts or 50/50 freebase for a bigger cloud. Avoid thick 70/30 shortfills and heavily sweetened dessert liquids in any Xlim pod: they wick slowly and clog the mesh, which owners on Oxva’s community forum link to pods burning out in days instead of weeks. Browse 10ml nic salt e-liquids to pair with it.

Battery, Pod Life and Running Cost

A 1600mAh cell at MTL power levels is a genuine all-day battery for most vapers, and the ring light warns you before it runs flat. Pods are the only recurring part: on clear 50/50 or salt liquids a pod typically lasts one to two weeks, falling to a few days on sweet or thick juice. At around £2 per pod, that is roughly £1 to £2 a week on pods plus e-liquid, with 10ml bottles now carrying the UK vaping duty introduced on 1 October 2026. Refilling still works out far cheaper per ml than any disposable route.

Which Pods Fit the Oxva Xlim 4

Oxva’s own compatibility list is simple: the Oxva Xlim 4 takes the Xlim Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 and the previous Xlim Top Fill Cartridge, both in 2ml TPD form and 0.4 to 1.2 ohm. The same cartridges fit the Oxva Xlim Pro 3, Xlim 3 Ultra, Xlim Go 2, Xlim Go Lite, Xlim SQ Pro 2, Xlim Pro 2 and Xlim Go, so pods are easy to find and spares carry over between kits. Stainless steel Xlim SS pods are for the Oxva Xlim Pro 2 DNA only, and Oxva NeXLIM pods do not fit any Xlim. Stock up with Oxva Xlim V3 replacement pods or browse the full Oxva Xlim pods range.

How to Set Up and Make It Last Longer

Setup

Charge the device with the included USB-C cable; the ring light shows progress.

Pull the pod out and open the top fill cap.

Fill with nic salt or 50/50 e-liquid to just below the 2ml line, then close the cap.

Stand the filled pod for at least 30 seconds so the coil soaks; a dry first puff damages it straight away.

Click the pod back in, double-click the button to pick a power level, and vape.

Make it last longer

Refill before the pod runs empty rather than chasing the last drops.

Stay on Low or Medium with the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods; High pushes them harder than needed.

Top the battery up through the day instead of running it flat every night.

Best Colours

Ten finishes cover three styles. Black Carbon and the four Silken Leather options give the classic, discreet look most ex-smokers reach for. The Nacre pearl finishes (White, Pink, Purple) stand out in the hand, and the two Aurora Petal shades are the boldest, for vapers who treat the kit as a daily-carry accessory.

Price Comparison

As of October 2026 the Oxva Xlim 4 sells for £15.49 at Vaping101, £15.99 at Ecigone and £16.99 at Vapestore, against £14.99 here. Inside the range, the Oxva Xlim Pro 3 Pod Kit costs £21.99 on this store for the same cartridges plus a screen, so this kit is the cheapest way into Oxva’s current pod platform: £7 saved buys three spare pods. Versus the Vaporesso XROS 4, it offers a bigger battery and the wider shared Xlim pod range, while the XROS 4 keeps a screen. See more rechargeable vape kits.
