Innokin Kroma-Z Pod: Fits and Does Not Fit
Fits:
Innokin Kroma-Z pod mod kit. The 40W, 3000mAh pod mod with the sliding airflow bar. The pod locks on with magnets.
Does not fit:
Innokin Kroma 217, Kroma-A, Kroma-R and Kroma-Nova. Same Kroma name, but these are mod-and-tank kits with Zenith, Zlide or Z-Force tanks.
Innokin Z Pod Nano, Klypse and Sceptre. Different pod shapes with fixed coils.
Which Innokin Z Coil to Fit
The pod takes the same plug-in Innokin Z coils as the Zenith tanks, so the coil sets your draw. Mouth-to-lung (MTL) is a tight, cigarette-like draw; restricted direct-lung (RDL) is looser with more vapour.
0.8Ω Z coil (fitted): 15 to 18W, MTL. For nic salts and 50/50 e-liquid, airflow bar near closed.
0.3Ω Z coil: 30 to 40W, RDL. Airflow open, 70/30 shortfill, battery life roughly halves.
Other Z coils (1.2Ω, 1.6Ω, 0.5Ω Plexus-Z, 0.6Ω Duoprime). Innokin says the Kroma-Z runs the full Z coil line; use the wattage printed on the coil.
Spares: Innokin Zenith Z coils and Innokin Plexus-Z coils.

Best E-Liquid for the Innokin Kroma-Z Pod
With the fitted 0.8Ω coil use a 50/50 e-liquid or a 10ml nic salt. Thick 70/30 shortfill belongs in this pod only with the 0.3Ω coil.
How to Fit a Coil and Prime the Pod
Pull the pod off the mod and pull the old Z coil out of the base.
Push the new coil in until it seats and drop e-liquid on the cotton ports.
Open the side stopper, fill to just below the top, close it firmly.
Wait 10 minutes before the first puff. Skipping this burns the coil.
Start at the low end of the coil’s wattage range.
How Long the Pod and Coil Last
The pod itself lasts months; replace it when it cracks or the stopper stops sealing. The Z coil inside lasts one to two weeks, less with sweet liquids. A burnt taste, weak flavour or gurgling means the coil needs changing, not the pod. A spare pod plus a five-pack of Z coils covers six to eight weeks of daily use.
