Description

Introduction

The Innokin Klypse V2 Replacement Pods are the upgraded 2ml refillable pods for the whole Klypse family, sold as a 3-pack for £5.99 in 0.6 ohm, 0.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm. Each pod has a built-in mesh coil, a silicone-plugged side-fill port and a magnetic base: fill, prime, vape, then swap the pod when flavour fades.

V2 brings the upgraded mesh coil and reshaped mouthpiece Innokin introduced with the Innokin Klypse Plus Pod Kit, and Innokin confirms both pod generations fit every Klypse series device, from the original Klypse to the Plus.

Key Specs Customers Check

Pack size: 3 refillable pods. One pack covers three to six weeks of daily use.

Capacity: 2ml per pod. The UK legal maximum, a fifth of a 10ml bottle per fill.

Resistances: 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. Lower numbers give warmer, airier vapour; higher numbers give a tighter, cooler draw.

Power: up to 22W (0.6 ohm), 16W (0.8 ohm), 12W (1.2 ohm). Innokin’s published figures; kits with auto-detection set this for you.

Coil: fixed mesh coil. The whole pod is swapped when spent.

Material: PCTG plastic. Tougher than standard PC, so pods survive pockets.

Key Features

Upgraded mesh coil: Innokin’s Klypse Pro and Plus pages credit the new pods with purer flavour and longer life. Independent tests ran 40 to 90ml through single pods without flavour loss.

Backwards compatible: V2 pods fit every Klypse kit and original pods still fit the Plus and Pro.

Nic salt friendly: Built for 50/50 and higher-PG liquid; 70/30 only suits the 0.6 ohm.

Prime first: Innokin’s manual says wait at least 5 minutes after the first fill; UK reviewers suggest 10 to 15. Skipping this is the top cause of a burnt pod.

How Long Will One Pod Last

Lifespan follows millilitres through the coil, not days:

Light vaper (around 2ml a day): two to three weeks per pod; 1.2 ohm can reach a month.

Average vaper (3 to 5ml a day): one to two weeks per pod, so a 3-pack lasts about a month.

Heavy vaper (6ml or more a day): around a week, nearer five days on the 0.6 ohm at full power.

Which Resistance Should You Choose

1.2 ohm – tightest, coolest draw and the most liquid-efficient pod. Best with 10mg or 20mg nic salts; Planet of the Vapes reviewers call it the natural home for bar salts.

0.8 ohm – the original Klypse resistance and the one UK buyers praise most for flavour and leak-free reliability. Balanced MTL for 10mg salts or 6 to 12mg 50/50.

0.6 ohm – warmer restricted-lung draw with the most vapour. Suits 3 to 6mg freebase or 5mg salts and copes with 70/30. Wears out soonest.

Ex-smokers wanting a cigarette-like pull should start on 1.2 ohm with 20mg salts, or 0.8 ohm with 10mg if 20mg bites. Menthol switchers and long-term smokers in their 40s and 50s tend to settle on 0.8 ohm. Heavy vapers coming off sub-ohm should take the 0.6 ohm with a low-strength liquid from the 10ml nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids range.

Compatibility and Refills

Innokin’s Klypse Plus page states that the original pod and the V2 pod both work with all Klypse series devices: the Innokin Klypse Pod Kit (fixed 16W, best on 0.8 ohm), Klypse Zip, Innokin Klypse Mecha (auto-detects the pod and caps power), Klypse Pro and Klypse Plus. Not compatible with any non-Klypse kit. Every Innokin refill sits in the Innokin replacement pods collection.

How to Fill and Make Pods Last Longer

Filling a Klypse V2 pod

Pull the pod straight up with dry fingers; the magnets are strong.

Lift the silicone plug and fill slowly to just below the port, avoiding the central air tube.

Press the plug back until completely flush; a half-seated plug is the main cause of seepage.

Leave a new pod to stand 5 to 15 minutes, then take two short draws first.

Getting more weeks from every pod

Keep the pod at least a third full; Innokin’s manual lists this as the biggest factor in coil life.

Stay inside the power band; pushing a 0.6 ohm pod past 22W scorches the cotton.

Pause between puffs; E-Cigarette Forum reviewers found four or five back-to-back draws on the 0.6 ohm turn harsh.

Lift the pod out if the kit sits unused for a day or more, and recycle spent pods at an electricals take-back point.

What UK Vapers Say

Vape Club buyer reviews of the current Klypse pods agree on no leaking, easy filling and one to three weeks per pod. The recurring complaint is an occasional dud that spits rather than vapes; the fix is a fresh pod, and buyers past fifty packs call it rare. E-Cigarette Forum reviewers found the pod stiff to remove with dry hands and preferred the 1.2 ohm for flavour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Klypse V2 pods fit the original Klypse, Zip and Mecha?

Yes. Innokin confirms both pod generations work across every Klypse kit; the Mecha reads the resistance and sets power itself.

What is the difference between Klypse V2 and the original pods?

Same 2ml, side fill, magnets and resistances. V2 adds the upgraded mesh coil Innokin credits with purer flavour and longer life, plus a reshaped mouthpiece.

Which Klypse V2 pod is best for nic salts?

1.2 ohm for 20mg salts and the tightest draw; 0.8 ohm for 10mg salts with fuller flavour. Keep 0.6 ohm for 5mg salts or 3 to 6mg freebase.

Why does my new Klypse pod taste burnt?

Almost always vaped too soon after the first fill. Wait 5 to 15 minutes and keep it above a third full; a scorched pod will not recover.

How long do Innokin Klypse pods last?

One to three weeks for most people. Tests put the 0.8 ohm at around 50ml and the 0.6 ohm at around 90ml before flavour fades.

Do Klypse V2 pods leak?

Reviews and independent tests report none when the plug is fully flush. Seepage traces to a half-seated plug, overfilling, or a full pod left in the kit for days.

What wattage does each pod run at on my kit?

The original Klypse fires a fixed 16W, so it suits 0.8 ohm best. The Zip runs 14.5W on 0.8 and 10W on 1.2; Mecha, Pro and Plus adjust to the pod.
