Description

Introduction

The Geekvape Aegis Force Replacement Pods are the empty 2ml refillable pods for the Aegis Force pod kit, sold as a 2-pack for £7.99 against the £9.99 RRP. Each pod matches the kit pod, with top airflow, a side fill plug and the full Geekvape B Series coil range.

Unlike most 2026 refillable cartridges, this pod is not locked to one draw style: a 0.2ohm coil and the wide tip give direct-lung clouds, a 1.2ohm coil and the narrow tip give a tight mouth-to-lung draw.

Aegis Force Pod Specs Buyers Check

Capacity: 2ml (UK TPD version). The 5ml pod on some listings is the non-UK version.

Pack size: 2 pods, coils not included. Add Geekvape B Series coils at £9.99 for 5.

Coil fit: B Series mesh coils (Boost version), press-fit. One-way fit, so it cannot go in wrong.

Resistances: 0.15, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.6ohm DTL; 0.8 and 1.2ohm MTL. Seven coils, one pod.

Airflow: adjustable top airflow ring. Air enters above the liquid, so true leaks are rare.

Fill: side-mounted silicone plug. Pull, fill, push back.

Drip tips: DTL tip fitted, MTL tip included. Swap to match the coil.

Connection: magnetic, Aegis Force only. Does not fit the Aegis Boost or Hero.

Key Features

Top airflow leak control: the pod cannot drain through the airflow slots overnight like bottom-airflow pods.

MTL or DTL in one pod: the coil and tip set the draw, so there is no separate MTL pod to buy.

Shared coil platform: B Series coils from an Aegis Boost, Hero or Z Nano 3 drop straight in.

How Long Will It Last

A refillable pod has no puff count: the body lasts until the plug, magnets or seals wear; the coil is what you replace. Geekvape rates a Boost coil for 50 to 60ml and an MTL coil for 20 to 30ml, so:

Light vaper (around 3ml a day): DTL coil 2 to 3 weeks, MTL coil 7 to 10 days, pod body 2 to 3 months.

Average vaper (around 5ml a day): DTL coil 10 to 12 days, MTL coil about a week, pod 6 to 8 weeks.

Heavy vaper (8ml or more a day): DTL coil about a week, MTL coil 3 to 4 days, pod 4 to 6 weeks.

Sweet liquids and chain vaping shorten coil life.

Which Coil to Fit

No flavour variants here; the choice is the coil. All seven B Series resistances fit:

0.15ohm – hardest-hitting DTL, 70VG shortfills only.

0.2ohm – fitted in the kit, 50 to 58W, big warm clouds. Smart mode sets 50W.

0.3ohm – 30 to 38W, a cooler DTL draw that uses less liquid.

0.4ohm – the kit’s spare, 25 to 35W, restricted DTL for 60VG. Smart mode sets 30W.

0.6ohm – 15 to 25W, the crossover coil for loose MTL or restricted DTL on 50/50 liquid.

0.8ohm – 12 to 16W, MTL, the all-round match for 10ml nic salts.

1.2ohm – 8 to 12W, the tightest draw, closest to a cigarette, ideal for 20mg salts.

Ex-smokers coming off disposables should start on the 0.8 or 1.2ohm with a 20mg nic salt. Cloud chasers on shortfills belong on the 0.2 or 0.3ohm. Heavy vapers wanting fewer coil changes do well on the 0.6ohm with a 10mg salt.

How to Set Up and Make It Last Longer

Setup

Push a B Series coil into the pod base until it seats, then drip 3 or 4 drops of e-liquid onto the cotton.

Pull the side plug, fill to just below the top, and push the plug fully home.

Fit the wide tip for DTL coils or the narrow tip for MTL.

Wait 5 to 10 minutes before the first draw; skipping this is the top cause of a burnt coil.

Clip the pod on; Smart mode sets a suitable wattage for the coil.

Make it last longer

Wipe the pod base and contacts every few days; condensation there is normal, not a leak.

Keep the pod above a quarter full and inside the wattage printed on the coil; both burn cotton.

Use 50/50 on 0.8 and 1.2ohm coils and 70VG on 0.15 to 0.3ohm; thin liquid in a low-ohm coil floods.

Replace the pod, not just the coil, when the plug splits, magnets weaken or the plastic clouds.

Compatibility

The Geekvape Aegis Force Replacement Pods fit the Aegis Force pod kit only, via its magnetic connection. They do not fit the Aegis Boost or Aegis Hero — those kits share the coil, not the pod.

Coils: Geekvape B Series Boost mesh coils, press-fit, in all seven resistances — 0.15, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.6ohm for DTL, 0.8 and 1.2ohm for MTL. The same coil is used by the Aegis Boost, Boost 2 and 3, Hero 2 and 5 and Z Nano 3, so a coil from any of those drops straight in. Wenax G Series coils do not fit.

Community Insights

Planet of the Vapes reviewers found the airflow quite open on the stock 0.2ohm coil and ran it about a third open; close the ring or fit the narrow tip if the draw feels loose. Vape Picks calls condensation clean-up routine, so wipe the base. Planet of the Vapes forum users on the Aegis Boost, which shares this coil, trace real leaks to a coil O-ring not fully seated; reseat it. A Vape Club customer reported the fill tab failing after a few weeks, the main reason to keep a spare pod.

FAQ

Do the Aegis Force pods come with coils?

No, they are empty pods. Add B Series coils, or move your old coil across.

Which coils fit the Aegis Force pod?

B Series Boost coils in 0.15 to 1.2ohm, the same coil used by the Aegis Boost, Boost 2 and 3, Hero 2 and 5 and Z Nano 3. Wenax G Series coils do not fit.

Do these pods fit the Aegis Boost or Hero?

No. The coils are shared across those kits; the pods are not.

How long does one pod last?

Typically 6 to 12 weeks, changing the coil every 1 to 3 weeks. Replace it when the plug, magnets or seals wear.

Which coil is best for 20mg nic salts?

The 1.2ohm for the tightest draw, or the 0.8ohm for a warmer MTL hit.

Why is the base of my pod wet?

Usually condensation; wipe the base. If liquid keeps pooling, reseat the coil O-ring and use thicker liquid on low-ohm coils.

Can I use shortfills in this pod?

Yes, on the 0.15 to 0.4ohm coils. Keep 70VG off the 0.8 and 1.2ohm coils, which wick too slowly.

18+ only. This pod is a refillable accessory for use with nicotine-containing e-liquids. Nicotine is an addictive substance. Not suitable for non-smokers, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or persons under 18 years of age. Keep out of reach of children.
